Not In My City Is Here To Help
|
| What is Not In My City?
Not In My City is an organization working to create a new normal in our cities. We start by evaluating the real needs of a community and then work to partner with existing organizations that are already meeting those needs by providing exposure, volunteers, and when possible, resources. Where we find gaps in help we seek to create new services to fill them. We focus our efforts around three initiatives...
- Children will understand their God-given potential and have every opportunity to attain it.
- Couples will have the support they need for their marriages to thrive.
- People will know where to turn for help when a crisis hits.

School Mentoring Enriching Kids
|
| Study after study has revealed the sobering truth that an unstable and fragmented home life negatively effects every aspect of a child’s development.
Our nation leads the world in fatherless homes, and even in homes where the father is present issues like hunger, abuse, and neglect are creating almost insurmountable barriers between children and the potential they have been given by God. Compounding this problem is the reality facing many intact families that are doing everything they can, but must work multiple jobs just to keep food on the table and the lights from being shut off.
